REINVENTING THE LIGHT BULB

SHADE have worked hard to conceive our vision of a modern lamp: Nordic design, human-centric technology, and a light experience unlike anything seen before.

At the centre of our vision is a reinvention of the light-bulb. A beautiful piece of hardware, fitted with the best components, and built to last.

We call it the “Orb”

Designed by Slaatto

The ORB and introduction to S1

SHADE teamed up with the designer Øivind Alexander Slaatto, ensuring our product is not just technologically advanced, but also beautifully designed.

Having him on board assures a Nordic design heritage from the start, which becomes invaluable in a global market place.

The ‘Orb’ is the first part of our collaboration and will be followed by several timeless and iconic silhouette designs.
