The "Orb"

Over the last 1 ½ years our engineers and developers at SHADE have developed a new kind of light source as the modern alternative to the long established, but outdated Edison light bulb. We call it The Orb due to not only its futuristic look, but abilities as well.

It was invented, constructed, and designed in a way that enables the user to experience the highest amount of lighting possibilities in one source. Looking at light sources in normal homes, we saw that the usual consumer can choose between different lamps that usually have the same usability (an Edison bulb as the source with limited functions), and the outcome of the light dependent on the shade surrounding the bulb. All of these lamps are supplying light outcome in one of three zones being the upper zone, the middle zone, and the lower zone.

Our Orb was designed to equally enable smart control of light outcome in all 3 of these zones, which can be adapted in any kind of intensity, brightness, variety, and color making it the most versatile light source as of now.

The future is dynamic light for dynamic living.

Besides having one Orb performing these features, it is possible to connect multiple Orbs in zones so that the user can configure the light based on not only individual lamps or zones, but also lamps within these zones. This offers another level of adaptability, giving the users a chance to constantly control all lights in their surroundings.

We will introduce more insights and features in the next weeks as we are developing and finalizing multiple aspects of the light source. There are a lot of amazing functions to come and we hope you will enjoy them as much as we do!
